Angry Birds 2: Movie Review

By: Matt Suzara

Animated films tend to suffer on the sequel with limited resources to top its predecessor. The first film was enjoyable but forgettable at the same time, but this sequel manages to spill some ideas to double up the quality of entertainment. There are a lot of fresh new characters on board and create more color to the picture.

The story was fine and even there is nothing new to that structure, the movie creates that thin line to make it more dimensional. It is also filled with terrific tracks like a sugar coating that makes some of the scenes really hilarious.

Another positive side is the fact that the film allows the matured audiences to feel the vibe. The jokes offered were just simply right on cue and were written perfectly to entertain everyone inside the cinema. You can't also help but praise the outstanding voice talents with Jason Sudiekis, Josh Gad, Tiffany Haddish, Peter Dinklage and Danny McBride. These guys are all experts when it comes to comedy so basically you know where the film will go through.

Overall,  Angry Birds 2 is a feathery and colorful upgraded sequel filled with entertaining new characters and accessible story for all ages. It lands all the jokes neatly with an energetic approach to the audience.
