Red Sparrow: Movie Review

By: Matt Suzara Dominika Egorova (Jennifer Lawrence) will do anything for her ailing mother so when a brutal accident sends her ballerina career into dust, she is forced to join in a secret intelligence school to become a Sparrow. Here she must learn how to manipulate others and use her seduction skills as weapons to extract vital information to help her government. After enduring the ruthless program, Dominika must now put her life on the line to lure an American Cia agent (Joel Edgerton) and gain his trust.   Red Sparrow is a slick and sexy spy thriller that will put you on a cycle spin trying to catch up with the mystery that the story wants to imply. It is quite confusing and entertaining at the same time as you all need to focus your attention on the screen so you won't get left out. It is also mixed with spine-chilling brutality, which is spread throughout and was thrillingly great to make your blood gushing through your veins.  It is a reunion project fo

The Significant Other: Movie Review

By: Matt Suzara The Significant Other revolves around three people Edward, Nicole and Maxene. Edward (Tom Rodriguez) is a cosmetic surgeon who flirts with  Nicole (Erich Gonzalez), an aspiring model who idolizes Maxene (Lovi Poe) who happens to be Edward's wife. Can Edward sustain both relationship and make everyone clueless with his infidelity or will the two women cross paths and finally realize that they are both in love with the same guy? It is Team Lovi Vs Team Erich for Tom Rodriguez's heart in The Significant Other. The film is your typical infidelity theme mainstream, we often get in our cinemas. However, what it separates from the other films is that it is carried by three of the most alluring faces in the industry right now. Tom, Erich and Lovi are just fun to watch even the material is riddled with uneven pace and shallow conflict that can be solved easily. If there is a thing to admire the most is how the clash between Erich and Lovi came into play.
