Hot off voicing the emotion Fear in the Oscar-winning “Inside Out” and starring in the hit comedy “Trainwreck,” actor Bill Hader now takes the role of the porcine principal, Leonard, in Columbia Pictures' new adventure comedy “The Angry Birds Movie.” Leonard is the leader of the pigs, the one who launches the birds’ beef against the pork. Proud, egomaniacal, and vain, Leonard’s a real pig, so no wonder that he ruffles Red’s feathers a bit. “ Leonard is super charismatic – so charming that he wins over the birds straight away,” says director Fergal Reilly. “Bill created a voice that had authority, but also charm – a showman personality. Bill has a velvety quality to his voice – warm and super funny – so when Leonard arrives on Bird Island, he wins the birds over effortlessly.” Regarding Leonard’s distinctive cadence in speaking, Hader says, “My first recording session for the movie was really trying to figure out the voice.   The critically hailed blockbuster “X-Men: Days of Future Past” was a tough act to follow.  Following his acclaimed work, director Bryan Singer takes the franchise to new heights with “X-Men: Apocalypse,” in which the X-Men battle the original and most powerful mutant -- Apocalypse.   Staged in 1983, the invincible and immortal Apocalypse is set free after being entombed for several millennia.  Enraged that his kind are no longer treated as gods, Apocalypse assembles a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to destroy humankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.  To end Apocalypse’s path of global destruction, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) and Professor X (James McAvoy) lead a team of young X-Men in an epic showdown with a seemingly unstoppable enemy.   Once again fueled by rage and revenge, Magneto is vulnerable to Apocalypse’s offer to join him as one of his newly-reformed Four Horsemen. Inspired by the bib

Hyper-Kinetic Action Movie “HARDCORE HENRY” Shot on GOPRO Cameras

Prepare for a mind-blowing immersive cinematic encounter in “Hardcore Henry” as it gives the audience a chance to experience the entire film through the point-of-view of its main character (cyborg) named Henry.    First time director Ilya Naishuller helms “Hardcore Henry” wherein Henry remembers nothing and his wife Estelle (played by Haley Bennett) has been kidnapped by an extremely powerful warlord with an army of mercenaries.  The line between hero and villain in “Hardcore Henry” is tenuous as he tries to follow and uncover the devious plot against him within the city of Moscow.  The audience – Henry, essentially – assesses in real time just who is friend and who is foe.    Shot almost entirely on GoPro cameras with custom engineered rigs, “Hardcore Henry” completely abandons, even eviscerates, traditional filmmaking and replaces it with a raw and immediate experience, allowing the audience to become one with the protagonist, so viewers go on a very personal and breat

The Huntsman: Winter's War (Movie Review)

By: Lakwatsera Lovers After being betrayed by her lover, Queen Freya (Emily Blunt) decided to build an ice kingdom and kidnaps children to train them to become a part of her army. Two of his finest soldiers grow up to be Eric the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) and Sara (Jessica Chastain). However, the two fall in love, and Freya's rule stated that love is forbidden in her kingdom. Soon, the two are forced by Freya to get separated and as time passes by, the two met again to team up and find the magic mirror and prevent Freya to become more powerful than before.  The Huntsman: Winter's War is somehow a sequel and a prequel to the 2012 hit Snow White and the Huntsman. It might be an unnecessary continuation of the first film but despite the negative reviews from the other critics, we somehow enjoyed it. The story might be pretty simple and stretched, but it was boosted with the tremendous visuals that are really entertaining at times. The costumes are pretty neat as well, an

Team Iron Man Bats For Responsibility in “CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR”

Robert Downey Jr. returns as the godfather of all Super Heroes, Tony Stark and leads Team Iron Man in Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War.” Tony Stark is a different man—he’s made an honest assessment of the recent events with Ultron and, in a shocking conservative turnaround, is in agreement with world governments that the Avengers should be regulated. This move pits Iron Man against Captain America on a political level but their personal conflict runs deeper—and down a more dangerous path than either could have ever anticipated or imagined. The actor explains what it means when Iron Man and Captain America find themselves at odds in the film’s story. “You don’t want to see these two characters create a tear in the fabric of their relationship because you know how pervasive it can be,” says Downey. “So it gives you a fair amount of shatter to play with. I’ve always liked the idea of how do you recover from that. What has to happen for there to be any sort of homeostasi
